Regional Finance Officer with CARE Bangladesh

CARE Bangladesh invites application for the following position for its SHOUHARDO II Program based in Cox's Bazar Field Office. The duration of the proposed contract will be up to May 2015.

Regional Finance Officer (01 Position)
The Regional Finance Officer (RFO) is a member of the regional program finance team and is responsible for performing budget and expense tracking activities of the program. S/he will prepare the regional budget and track expense of the program according to approved guidelines. S/he will also be responsibility to support the routine fund management for the direct delivery activities and oversee general financial activities of the program. The incumbent will have to extensively involve to support the audit activities. Young Professional
BRAG will recruit a number of young professionals (YPs) under its Leadership Development Programme from self-motivated fresh graduates with positive attitudes, high integrity and a desire to make a difference through serving distressed humanity. Selected candidates will undergo intensive training for a period of one year under the supervision of a high level committee.
After completion of the training, the YPs will work for two years in different positions in rural areas to gain deeper understanding of development issues and operations of BRAG. On completion of the field level assignments, YPs will be eligible to take up mid-level management positions in Bangladesh and overseas where BRAG operates.

Educational Requirements:
A graduate from a reputed university with CGPA 4.5 and above in SSC and HSC or equivalent examinations, and CGPA 3.5 and above (in a scale 4.0) in the undergraduate level is eligible to apply for the position.

Salary and Terms of Employment:
Successful candidates will receive a remuneration of Tk. 25,000 per month (consolidated) during the training period. A deposit of Tk 5,000 per month will be kept in their savings account which will be paid to them when they complete three years service with the organization.
